Shamanth’s expertise include litigation of civil and criminal
nature along with mediation and arbitration. He has been engaged in various matters concerning recovery, specific performance, Banking and Finance as well as constitutional matters before the Supreme Court and High Court of Karnataka. He has also handled various cases in several other forums such as NCLT, DRT, DRAT, ITAT and NCDRC.
His litigation practice includes drafting (complaints, suits, writ petitions, special leave petition, rejoinders, tax appeals), research and court appearance in various matters pertaining to Civil law, Criminal law, Company law, Labour and service law, constitutional law.
He also handles real estate practice of the Firm and he has conducted due diligences as well as has advised asset reconstruction companies with respect to the sale of their industrial loan accounts
Shamanth has been extensively involved in legal documentation, advisory, due diligence and litigation pertaining to debt recovery due to banks and other Financial Institutions. He is also involved in drafting, vetting negotiation and finalisation of agreements.
